Description
The Infinity trimless is a recessed downlight that disappears into the ceiling, leaving the light and no visible frame. It plasters in so the surround is skimmed level with the ceiling, and the matt black inner cone holds the COB LED back from the opening. Lit, it reads as a clean pool of light with the fitting hidden; unlit, the dark aperture recedes into the plaster rather than marking it with a ring.
This is the 12W version, throwing a wider 36 degree spread at a warm 3000K and giving 1000 lumens, with colour rendering above 90 so furnishings and finishes keep their real tone. The broader beam suits general room lighting where a run of frameless fittings needs to cover a floor evenly, while the black plaster-in cone keeps the ceiling clean and the aperture quiet. A UGR below 16 keeps glare low as you look up.
The body is die-cast aluminium and the visible cone is matt black, sitting behind a plaster-in flange for a trimless finish in a plasterboard ceiling. The LED is built in and included, rated for 50,000 hours, with a separate driver supplied. It runs at a fixed level without dimming and is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms.

Frequently Asked
What makes the trimless 12W different?
It plasters into the ceiling with no visible ring and puts out more light. The black COB cone gives a 36 degree beam at a warm 3000K and 1000 lumens, with colour rendering above 90, suiting general room lighting with a clean frameless finish.
Does it come ready to fit?
Yes. The LED is integrated and included, rated at 1000 lumens with a 50,000 hour life, and a separate driver is supplied. There is no bulb to buy; it wires to mains and plasters into a plasterboard ceiling.
Can it be dimmed?
No. This version runs at a fixed output with a simple on-off switch and is not dimmable, so no dimmer or extra driver is needed on the circuit.
How big is it and where does it suit?
The plaster-in flange is 105mm across and it recesses about 64mm deep, the largest in the range. The frameless black finish and 36 degree beam suit general lighting in a living room, kitchen or hallway where a hidden, darker fitting is wanted.
