Description
The Arvella is a 380mm wall light built around a vertically oriented light beige travertine backplate, with an opal white glass globe set into the upper portion. The stone shows the natural pitting, mineral flecks and tonal variation typical of unfilled travertine, while the smooth glass diffuser provides contrast against the porous surface. A single G9 lamp socket sits behind the globe (bulb sold separately).
At 380mm high and 140mm wide, the Arvella suits hallways, bedrooms either side of a bed, living room flank walls and stairwell landings where a vertical accent works better than a wider sconce. Hard-wired installation through the centre fixing point on the lower half of the backplate keeps cabling concealed. Installed singly the Arvella works as a quiet wall accent; mounted in pairs it flanks mirrors, artwork or door openings with symmetrical proportion.
Travertine is cut from natural sedimentary stone, so each backplate has its own pattern of pores, veining and tonal shifts within the light beige range. The opal glass diffuser softens the G9 lamp output, casting warm light across the upper third of the stone and grazing the textured surface to bring out its organic markings. The neutral palette pairs with warm woods, plaster walls, linen and the broader contemporary-organic interior style.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does it take?
The Arvella takes a single G9 capsule bulb, sold separately. Most users pair it with a warm-white LED G9 between 2.5-4W and 2700K-3000K for the warm glow shown when illuminated.
Is it suitable for bathrooms?
No IP rating is listed in the specification, so the Arvella should be treated as an indoor, dry-location fitting only. It is not suitable for bathroom zones or external use.
Will the travertine pattern match between two units?
Travertine is a natural stone, so each backplate has its own distribution of pores, mineral flecks and tonal variation. When mounted in a pair the overall light beige palette is consistent, but the surface markings will differ between pieces.
How is the travertine cleaned?
Wipe with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to remove dust. Travertine is porous, so avoid soaking the stone or using household sprays, acidic cleaners or polishes, which can stain or etch the surface.
