Description

The Arcadia is an upright outdoor table lamp built as a slim powder-coated stem rising to a rounded white diffuser. The shade is white PMMA, so an E27 bulb inside reads as a soft, all-round glow rather than a bare source, giving gentle light across a table. Lit, it works as a warm pool of light for a patio or garden table; unlit, it stands as a plain white column that reads the same indoors or out.

It measures 280mm across and 529mm tall, a portable size for a dining or side table, a windowsill, a covered patio or a porch. Rated IP44, it stands up to splashes and damp, so it can move between the garden and the house as the evening turns.

The base and stem are powder-coated metal in white, with a white PMMA diffuser and a neoprene cable with a plug, so it sets down and plugs in rather than needing wiring. It takes one E27 bulb up to 42W, which is not included, so we would fit a warm E27 lamp to suit; the maker suggests a 4000K lamp, though a warmer 2700K lamp gives a softer evening light.

A soft, all-round glow. The E27 bulb sits inside a white PMMA diffuser, so the light spreads evenly across a table rather than as a hard beam. The warmth depends on the bulb you fit, so a warm-white lamp gives a gentle evening light.

Does it come with a bulb?

No, the bulb is not included. It takes one E27 bulb up to 42W, so you can pick the brightness and warmth to suit. We can advise on a suitable warm-white lamp.

Can I use it outdoors?

Yes. It is rated IP44, so it stands up to splashes and damp on a covered patio, a porch or a garden table. It runs off a neoprene cable with a plug, so it sets down and plugs in rather than needing wiring, and moves easily between the garden and the house.

Can it be dimmed?

There is no built-in dimmer. Because it uses a standard E27 bulb, it can be dimmed by fitting a dimmable E27 lamp on a compatible plug-in or wall dimmer. We can advise on suitable lamps.
