Description

The Zephyra is a 235mm square recessed ground light housing an integrated 21W LED module delivering 3000K warm white light through a toughened glass diffuser. The body is fabricated from steel finished in silver, set flush with the ground surface on a 250mm total projection depth. The IP67 rating protects the internal LED driver and optics from water immersion up to 1m depth and complete dust ingress.

Designed for permanent outdoor installation in driveways, courtyards, pathways and architectural uplighting applications, the Zephyra sits in a recessed housing below the finished ground surface with only the glass face exposed. The 21W output suits larger paved areas, driveway edges and feature uplighting where higher lumen output is needed than smaller recessed fittings provide. The non-adjustable optic gives fixed upward projection, making it suited to path marking and wall washing rather than directional spotlighting.

The steel frame resists corrosion in wet and salt-laden environments, and the silver finish integrates visually with concrete, natural stone and grey composite paving. The 400mm cable run allows the driver connection to be made in a separate junction box positioned away from the fitting itself, simplifying maintenance. The integrated LED cannot be replaced, so the fitting is designed as a complete sealed unit with a 5-year warranty covering the LED module and driver together.

What does the IP67 rating mean for installation?

IP67 means the fitting is protected against temporary immersion in water up to 1m depth and is completely dust-tight. This makes it suitable for driveways, pathways and areas subject to standing water, heavy rain or pressure washing.

Can the LED module be replaced?

No. The Zephyra uses an integrated LED module sealed within the housing. The entire fitting is designed as a complete unit, covered by a 5-year warranty. If the LED fails within the warranty period, the complete fitting is replaced.

What ground preparation is needed?

A recessed housing or cut-out of at least 250mm depth is required to accommodate the fitting body below the finished surface. The installation site must allow for cable routing to a separate junction box, and adequate drainage around the fitting is recommended to prevent long-term water pooling.

Is it suitable for vehicle traffic?

The Zephyra is designed for foot traffic and light vehicular use on driveways. For areas with heavy commercial vehicle traffic, confirm the load rating with Ideal Lux technical support before installation.
