Description

The Zenithar is a recessed LED outdoor wall light built from die-cast aluminium with a white powder-coated finish, housing an integrated 8W 3000K LED behind a white silk-screened tempered glass diffuser. The IP65 rating protects against dust ingress and water jets from any direction, making the fitting suitable for exposed exterior walls, patios, pathways and garden perimeters.

Designed to sit flush or near-flush against the wall with a 75mm projection, the Zenithar provides downward and forward light distribution rather than upward wash. The recessed mounting means the body sits partially within the wall cavity, reducing the visual footprint while directing warm white light across horizontal surfaces below. The 190mm width and rectangular profile suit modern and contemporary building styles where clean lines are preferred over decorative bracket lights.

The tempered glass diffuser is silk-screened to soften the LED light source and reduce glare when viewed from the side. The white powder-coat finish on the aluminium body resists corrosion in coastal and high-humidity environments, and can be surface-mounted where a recessed installation is not feasible. The 8W output delivers approximately 640 lumens, providing functional illumination for entrance areas, side passages and terrace boundaries without excessive brightness.

What does the IP65 rating mean?

IP65 means the light is fully dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. It can be installed in exposed positions such as open patios, garden walls and coastal locations where rain, humidity and dust are present.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 8W LED is integrated into the fitting and not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000-30,000 hours of operation, which translates to around 10-12 years of typical evening use.

Can it be surface-mounted or does it need to be recessed?

The Zenithar is designed as a recessed fitting but can be surface-mounted if the wall cavity is not deep enough. When surface-mounted, the 75mm projection increases slightly but the fitting remains functional.

What colour is the light output?

The integrated LED is 3000K, which produces a warm white light similar to halogen bulbs. This colour temperature works well for residential outdoor spaces where a softer, less clinical light is preferred over daylight white.
