Vexa 1 Light K9 Crystal Table Lamp - Smoked Chrome

The Vexa is a 27cm table lamp built around a cylindrical shade of faceted K9 crystal in a smoked grey tone, mounted on a polished chrome stem and circular base. The shade is formed from individual prisms arranged in a geometric grid, each cut to catch and diffuse light through the tinted crystal. A single G9 bulb (sold separately) sits inside the shade, casting light outward through the facets and downward onto the surface below.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables, desks and sideboards, the Vexa works where a compact footprint is needed but some height is wanted to lift the light source above the surface. The 11cm diameter base keeps the lamp stable on narrow surfaces without dominating the available space. The smoked crystal gives the lamp a darker, more muted appearance than clear crystal, making it suited to interiors using grey, charcoal, black or darker wood tones where a bright metallic accent would be too stark.

The faceted crystal structure creates multiple reflections and refractions when the lamp is lit, scattering points of light across nearby walls and surfaces rather than projecting a single bright beam. The polished chrome base and stem provide structural contrast against the darker crystal and add a reflective metallic element that pairs with chrome door furniture, tap fittings or other polished metal details in the room. At 0.5kg the lamp is light enough to be moved easily between rooms but has enough weight to remain stable when the cable is pulled slightly during use.

What bulb does it take?

The Vexa takes a single G9 capsule bulb up to 33W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a G9 LED capsule between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K for ambient bedside or desk lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb used. G9 LED capsules vary in dimmer compatibility by manufacturer, so check the bulb packaging or specifications before pairing with a dimmer switch.

How much light does it give?

The smoked crystal shade diffuses light outward and downward rather than projecting a focused beam. With a typical 3-5W G9 LED the lamp provides ambient accent lighting suited to bedside reading or desk illumination in combination with other light sources, rather than acting as the sole light in a room.

Can it be used in pairs?

Yes. The compact 11cm footprint and symmetrical design make the Vexa well-suited to pairing on either side of a bed, flanking a console table, or balancing a mantelpiece. The smoked tone gives a coordinated look without appearing overly matched.
