Description

The Varo is a single-light crystal wall light built around a polished chrome rectangular backplate from which cascading strands of cut crystal hang in a curved curtain formation. A single G9 bulb (sold separately, up to 33W) sits behind the crystal strands, with the light refracting through the faceted glass to create layered reflections across surrounding walls.

Designed for hallways, bedroom accent lighting, and flanking bathroom mirrors, the Varo provides decorative wash light rather than focused task illumination. The 11.2cm projection from the wall keeps the fitting compact enough for narrower corridors, while the 19cm width gives enough presence to work as a standalone accent or in pairs either side of a mirror or feature wall. The polished chrome finish pairs with modern bathroom fittings, mirrored furniture and glossy wall tiles.

The crystal strands are arranged in vertical curtains that curve outward from the backplate, creating depth and movement when the light is on. Each strand catches and multiplies the G9 bulb's output, turning a single 33W source into a spread of refracted points across the crystal face. The chrome backplate acts as a reflector, bouncing additional light forward through the glass. At 0.76kg the fitting can be wall-mounted on plasterboard with appropriate fixings.
