Streamlight 3 Light Crystal Chandelier - Gold Plated Strass

The Streamlight is a 3-light crystal chandelier with a waterfall structure of Strass crystal strands hanging from a gold-plated brass frame. The 40cm-diameter canopy sits at the top, supporting curved arched arms that cascade downward in tiers, with individual cut crystal drops and spear-shaped pendants threaded onto each strand. Three BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulbs sit within the central crystal column, each rated up to 40W and sold separately.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Streamlight works where a traditional crystal chandelier is wanted but space limits the width to 40cm. The 56cm drop from canopy to the lowest crystal pendant allows the fitting to sit 700-900mm above a dining table or console depending on ceiling height, keeping the crystals visible without obstructing sightlines. The exposed chain suspension is adjustable on installation.

The gold-plated frame gives a warm metallic tone that contrasts with the clear Strass crystal, which refracts light into soft prismatic patterns across walls and ceilings when the bulbs are lit. The weight of 5kg requires a ceiling rose capable of supporting decorative fittings and the chain must be secured to a structural joist. The Streamlight pairs with traditional, classical and Art Deco interiors where crystal and gold finishes are established design elements.

What bulbs does it take?

The Streamlight takes three BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. For decorative effect and to minimise glare, most users pair this with candle-shaped filament LED bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) between 4-6W.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs you choose. If you fit dimmable LED bulbs and pair them with a compatible LED dimmer, the chandelier can be dimmed. Standard non-dimmable bulbs will not work with a dimmer circuit.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 56cm drop works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. For a dining table the chandelier typically sits 700-900mm above the table surface, which requires a minimum room height of around 2.5m to avoid the lowest crystals being at head height when seated.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power at the consumer unit before cleaning. Remove dust with a dry microfibre cloth or soft brush. For more thorough cleaning, individual crystal drops can be wiped with a barely-damp lint-free cloth and distilled water. Do not use household sprays or chemical cleaners on the crystals or gold frame.
