Description

The Streamlight is a single-light wall fitting with a gold-finished backplate and a radial burst of curved metal arms, each tipped with a faceted Strass crystal droplet. The arms cascade outward in a fountain-like arrangement, creating a 21cm diameter spread across the wall with 11cm projection from the surface. A single BC (bayonet cap) bulb sits at the centre behind the crystal array, casting light through the droplets and reflecting off the gold arms.

Designed for hallways, staircases, landings and bedroom walls, the Streamlight works as ambient accent lighting rather than primary room illumination. The modest projection suits narrower corridors and passages where deeper wall lights would intrude on clearance space. The gold finish picks up warmth from incandescent or warm-white LED bulbs and pairs with cream, soft grey, or warm-toned painted walls. The crystal droplets catch and scatter light from the central bulb, adding movement and reflection to otherwise flat surfaces.

The Streamlight installs onto a standard UK wall light back box and weighs 1.2kg once assembled. Strass crystal is machine-cut K9 optical crystal with consistent faceting across the droplets, giving predictable light scatter rather than the tonal variation of natural crystal. The gold finish is applied over a brass-toned base metal and develops a lived-in patina over time in high-humidity areas. For layered hallway lighting, the Streamlight works in multiples spaced 1.5-2m apart along a corridor or landing run.
