Description

The Streamlight is a 35cm crystal pendant light built around a central nickel stem that supports multiple curved metal arms, each ending in a faceted Strass crystal sphere. The arms cascade outward and down from a ribbed nickel canopy, creating a fountain-like arrangement where the crystal droplets catch and refract ambient light. A single BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulb fitting sits within the central structure, hidden by the metalwork and crystal.

Designed for hallways, bedroom corners, above side tables and in pairs flanking a bathroom mirror, the compact 35cm diameter and 40cm drop suit spaces where a larger chandelier would dominate. The pendant works above kitchen islands when hung in a row of two or three, spaced 800-1000mm apart. The cool-toned nickel finish pairs with marble, stone worktops, grey-painted walls and white ceramics, adding a metallic accent without warmth.

Each Strass crystal sphere is precision-cut with facets that disperse light in small prismatic flashes when the bulb is lit. The nickel frame provides structural contrast to the transparent crystal, preventing the design from appearing too ornate. At 3kg the pendant requires a ceiling hook or rose capable of supporting its weight, and the chain allows the drop to be adjusted during installation to suit ceiling height.

What bulb does it take?

The Streamlight takes a BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 6-8W warm-white LED golf ball or candle bulb in 2700K-3000K for soft ambient light.

Can the crystal be cleaned?

Yes. Switch off the mains and allow the bulb to cool. Wipe each crystal sphere with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid soaking the metal frame or dripping water into the bulb fitting.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 40cm drop plus chain suits standard 2.4m ceilings when hung in a hallway or corner. For lower ceilings the chain can be shortened during fitting. The pendant is not intended to hang directly over head height in circulation routes.

Does it come with a dimmer?

No. Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb you choose. If you fit a dimmable LED bulb, pair it with an LED-compatible dimmer switch. Check the bulb packaging for dimmer requirements before purchasing.
