Description

The Solarium is a 50mm diameter recessed ground light built to carry vehicle weight and foot traffic, with an IP67-rated black resin body housing a 3000K integrated LED. The light sits flush with paving, tarmac or resin-bound surfaces and casts a low-level pool of warm white light upwards through a polycarbonate lens.

Designed for driveways, car parks, pedestrian pathways and external courtyards, the Solarium can withstand cars parking and driving over it repeatedly without cracking the lens or damaging the internal LED assembly. The IP67 rating provides full waterproof and dust-tight protection, so the fitting can be installed in areas exposed to heavy rain, pooling water or pressure washing. The resin body resists corrosion and UV degradation, and the light continues to function in ambient temperatures from -60°C to +90°C, covering both extreme cold and high-summer tarmac surface heat.

The 50mm diameter makes the Solarium small enough to install in standard paving joints or cut into resin-bound driveways without significant surface disruption. The black finish blends into dark tarmac and charcoal paving, while the 3000K LED provides enough light to mark a pathway edge or driveway border without creating glare for drivers. Installation requires a 50mm core drill and a suitable weatherproof driver (check Specification for exact requirements).

Yes. The Solarium is rated for vehicle traffic and can carry the weight of a standard car repeatedly without damaging the lens or internal LED assembly. This makes it suitable for driveways, car parks and loading areas.

What installation depth is required?
