Solara 2 Light Crystal Wall Light - Gold

The Solara is a 21cm crystal wall light built around a curved gold metal frame with five rows of faceted rectangular and square crystal blocks arranged vertically. Two G9 bulb fittings sit behind the crystal blocks, lighting them from within. A row of smaller round crystals lines the bottom edge of the frame. The gold finish is polished rather than brushed, giving the metal a reflective surface that catches room light alongside the crystal.

Designed for hallways, living rooms and bedroom walls where decorative accent lighting is needed without a strong directional beam, the Solara projects approximately 13cm from the wall when fitted. The fixture works as a single piece beside a doorway or mirror, or in symmetrical pairs flanking a fireplace or console table. The shallow projection suits walls with limited clearance beside furniture or in narrow hallways. The G9 bulbs (sold separately) are concealed behind the crystal blocks, so the light source itself is not directly visible.

Each crystal block is cut with multiple facets that refract light passing through it, creating a glitter effect on adjacent walls when the bulbs are lit. The five rows of larger crystals alternate between horizontal rectangles and vertical rectangles, breaking the light into different angles depending on the orientation of each piece. The gold frame provides a warm metallic contrast to the clear crystal and sits comfortably in interiors with brass hardware, warm timber tones or other gold-finished lighting pieces.

What bulbs does it take?

The Solara takes two G9 capsule bulbs up to 33W maximum combined output. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with LED G9 bulbs between 2-4W each in warm white (2700K-3000K) to match the gold finish tone.

How much does it project from the wall?

The fixture projects approximately 13cm from the wall once fitted. This shallow depth suits hallways and walls beside furniture where deeper wall lights would obstruct movement.

Can it be used in pairs?

Yes. The symmetrical design works well in pairs flanking a fireplace, mirror, console table or doorway. Spacing them 1-1.5m apart creates balanced accent lighting without over-crowding the wall.

Is the crystal fixed or replaceable?

The crystal blocks are fixed to the gold frame during manufacture. They are not user-replaceable, but can be cleaned by wiping gently with a dry microfibre cloth once the bulbs are removed and the fixture is switched off at the mains.
