Description

The Ridmore is a single-arm wall light cast in solid brass with a vertical tassel motif running down the central shaft, finished in polished brass. A single candle-style arm extends from the shaft, holding an SES (E14) bulb fitting up to 60W. The fitting stands 30.5cm tall with a 17cm projection from the wall, giving it a narrow profile suited to hallways, alcoves and feature walls where width is limited.

Designed for traditional and classical interiors, the Ridmore works in entryways, staircase landings, and bedside positions where a single point of accent light is needed without the width of a double-arm sconce. The vertical emphasis suits narrow walls between doorways, columns, and alcove recesses. The 17cm projection keeps the fitting clear of door swing arcs while still allowing the candle bulb to cast light outward from the wall.

The tassel detailing on the central shaft is cast into the brass rather than applied as a separate element, giving the fitting a single continuous form from the mounting plate to the lower finial. The polished brass finish reflects ambient light from surrounding sources, adding warmth to rooms with cream, ivory, timber or warm-grey colour schemes. At 0.35kg the fitting mounts to standard wall fixings without needing additional backing support.
