Description

The Priscila is a 12-light cluster pendant built around twelve textured glass cube shades suspended on individual chrome cables from a 90cm diameter polished chrome ceiling plate. Each cube houses a G9 LED bulb (included), and the textured surface of the glass refracts light into geometric patterns across surrounding walls and ceilings. The cubes hang at staggered heights, creating a vertical column of light rather than a flat horizontal plane.

Designed for high-ceiling spaces such as double-height entrance halls, stairwells with voids, dining rooms with 3.5m+ ceilings, and commercial lobbies, the Priscila requires ceiling heights of at least 3m to accommodate the minimum 120cm drop without the lowest cube sitting too close to head height. The cables are individually adjustable between 120cm and 400cm, allowing each cube to be set at a different height to form spirals, cascades or clustered compositions depending on the architectural context.

The chrome ceiling plate measures 90cm across and contains the cable suspension points arranged in a circular pattern. At 21.8kg installed weight, the fitting requires secure fixing to a joist or ceiling structure capable of supporting the load — surface-mounted plasterboard fixings are not sufficient. The textured finish on each glass cube is applied to the interior surface, creating depth and visual interest when lit while keeping the exterior smooth for cleaning. The G9 LED bulbs included are rated at 6W each, giving a combined 72W load.

The chrome finish on the cables and ceiling plate is polished rather than brushed, creating high reflectivity that amplifies the light from the cubes. This works well in contemporary, Art Deco-inspired and hotel-style interiors where metallic accents are part of the palette. The IP20 rating limits the Priscila to dry indoor locations — bathrooms and outdoor covered areas are not suitable.

Are the cables adjustable after installation?

Yes. Each of the twelve cables can be adjusted between 120cm and 400cm drop during installation, and can be re-adjusted afterwards if you need to change the configuration. The cables feed through the ceiling plate and are secured with gravity toggles.

What ceiling height is needed?

A minimum ceiling height of 3m is recommended. At the shortest drop setting of 120cm, the lowest cube will hang 120cm below the ceiling plate, leaving 180cm clearance to the floor in a 3m room. For the full 400cm drop, ceiling heights of 5m or more are needed.

Are the bulbs included?

Yes. The Priscila comes with 12 x G9 LED bulbs rated at 6W each. Replacement G9 bulbs are widely available if needed in future.

What fixing is required for the 21.8kg weight?

The ceiling plate must be fixed directly to a joist, concrete ceiling, or structural timber using appropriate fixings for the ceiling type. Standard plasterboard cavity fixings are not sufficient for this weight — professional installation is recommended.
