Description

The PowerMaster 6ft LED batten is a 1800mm linear fitting with adjustable wattage settings from 35W to 62W and three selectable colour temperatures: 4000K cool white, 5000K daylight, and 6500K cold white. At maximum 62W output the batten delivers 9,300 lumens at 150 lumens per watt efficacy through a polycarbonate diffuser across a 120° beam angle. The white steel housing, PC end-caps and integrated fibre PCB heat sink manage thermal load across the LED array.

Designed for indoor commercial installation in offices, warehouses, workshops and retail back-of-house areas where high light output and flexible colour temperature matter. The CCT switch on the fitting allows the installer to select the colour temperature at installation rather than ordering separate stock for each temperature variant. Wattage adjustment (35W/42W/50W/62W) lets the fitting be tuned to the required light level for the specific room height and layout. The tool-free push-fit terminals speed installation on ceiling or suspended mounting.

The white powder-coated steel body measures 1800mm long with a profile approximately 75mm wide and 60mm deep, making it suitable for direct ceiling mounting on standard joist or batten spans. The polycarbonate diffuser sits flush with the body, preventing lamp glare in eye-level applications and diffusing the LED strip into uniform linear light along the full 6ft length. The IP20 rating confines use to dry indoor environments only — not suitable for damp rooms, outdoor canopies or IP-rated industrial zones.

How is the colour temperature changed?

A CCT selector switch on the fitting body (typically near the cable entry point) toggles between 4000K, 5000K and 6500K. The switch is set during installation and is not intended for regular user adjustment once the batten is ceiling-mounted.

Can the wattage be adjusted after installation?

Yes, the wattage setting (35W/42W/50W/62W) is adjusted via a switch on the fitting, typically adjacent to the CCT selector. However, accessing the switch usually requires removing the diffuser or accessing the fitting body, so it's most practical to set wattage during installation.

Is this batten dimmable?

No. The PowerMaster LED batten is non-dimmable. Connecting it to a dimmer circuit may cause flickering, buzzing or failure of the driver.

What fixing method does it use?

The batten mounts via keyhole slots or fixing clips on the rear housing, typically screwed directly to a ceiling surface or batten. The push-fit terminals accept 230V mains cable without requiring a screwdriver for the electrical connection.
