Description

The PowerMaster 4ft LED batten is a 1200mm linear fitting with adjustable output from 20W to 37W and selectable colour temperature between 3000K, 4000K and 5000K via built-in switches. At maximum 37W setting, the batten delivers 5,500 lumens at 150 lm/W efficacy through a white polycarbonate diffuser, casting a 120° spread of light.

Designed for offices, workshops, warehouses, corridors and commercial storage where functional overhead lighting is required, the batten mounts directly to ceiling joists or suspended grid systems using the integral end-cap fixings. The push-fit terminals accept single or multi-core cable without requiring a screwdriver, simplifying installation where multiple battens are being installed in sequence across a ceiling run.

The white steel body houses an integrated fibre PCB heat sink that dissipates heat from the LED array without requiring external cooling. The polycarbonate end-caps enclose the driver and wiring terminals at each end of the batten. The adjustable wattage allows the installer to set light output to match the ceiling height and required lux level on installation rather than ordering different models for different zones. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments only.

How is the wattage adjusted?

The batten has a small switch accessible from the end-cap that allows selection between 20W, 26W, 30W and 37W output. This is typically set during installation to match the light level required for the room height and use.

How is the colour temperature changed?

A second switch on the batten selects between 3000K (warm white), 4000K (neutral white) and 5000K (cool white). The selection is made before powering on and remains fixed until manually changed.

Can it be dimmed?

No. The batten is non-dimmable and should not be connected to dimmer switches or dimming circuits. Light output is controlled only via the wattage selection switch.

What ceiling fixing is required?

The batten mounts directly to ceiling joists, plasterboard with suitable fixings, or suspended grid systems using screws through the end-cap mounting points. The push-fit terminals accept mains cable without tools.
