Can it be fitted above a bathroom mirror?

The Oceans carries no IP rating, so it is suitable for general bathroom use outside zones 0, 1 and 2. It can be fitted above a mirror or on a wall adjacent to a basin, but not directly above a bath or inside a shower enclosure. Check your bathroom zone plan before installation.

How far does it project from the wall?

The specification does not state exact projection, but the vertical crystal column and chrome brackets typically add 8-12cm from the wall surface once fitted. This is narrower than most traditional wall sconces, making it suitable for corridors and hallways with limited clearance.

Can the crystal strands be cleaned?

Yes. Switch off the mains supply and allow the bulb to cool fully. Wipe each crystal strand gently with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For heavier marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the fittings or using spray cleaners near the bulb holder.
