Description

The Oceans is a 20cm crystal pendant light with a single G9 bulb fitting surrounded by cascading strands of faceted crystal drops, suspended from a polished chrome canopy on a clear cable. The crystal strands hang at varying lengths around the central bulb, creating a cylindrical curtain of glass that catches and refracts light when the fitting is on.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining nooks, bedside positions and hallway landings where a compact pendant is needed, the 20cm diameter keeps the fitting tight enough to work in rows of two or three without crowding a worktop. The 40.5cm overall drop suits standard 2.4m ceiling heights when hung 700-900mm above a surface. The slender vertical profile makes ceiling heights feel taller in narrow rooms or stairwells.

The polished chrome frame and canopy give a bright reflective accent that pairs with stainless steel appliances, chrome taps and contemporary fittings. Each crystal drop is faceted glass rather than acrylic, so the refractive quality under light is sharper than plastic equivalents. The fitting weighs 1.5kg and requires a ceiling rose capable of supporting at least 2kg once the G9 bulb is fitted.

What bulb does it take?

The Oceans takes a single G9 capsule bulb up to 33W. G9 bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED G9 between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K for ambient light without excessive heat output.

Can multiple Oceans pendants be hung in a row?

Yes. The 20cm diameter allows two or three Oceans pendants to be hung in a line along a kitchen island or dining table without overlapping, typically spaced 400-600mm apart depending on the island length. Each pendant requires its own ceiling rose and wiring run.

Is the crystal glass or acrylic?

The drops are faceted glass. This gives sharper refraction and a clearer sparkle under light compared to acrylic crystal-style pendants.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 40.5cm overall drop works in rooms with 2.4m or higher ceilings when the pendant is hung 700-900mm above a worktop or table. Lower ceilings may still accommodate the fitting if the suspension cable is shortened during installation.
