Novelle 2 Light Crystal Wall Light - Gold

The Novelle is a 2-light crystal wall light built around twin symmetrical arms in a polished gold finish, each arm terminating in a faceted crystal sphere that houses a G9 bulb fitting. Small crystal teardrops hang beneath each arm, adding secondary reflections when the light is on. The circular backplate measures 28cm wide and projects 15cm from the wall, with a vertical height of 20cm from the base of the backplate to the top of the crystal candle tubes.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, living room accent walls and positions flanking mirrors or consoles, the Novelle provides decorative light rather than primary illumination. The twin G9 bulbs (sold separately) sit inside the faceted crystal spheres, so the light refracts through the cut surfaces and casts patterned reflections onto adjacent walls. The gold arms curve outward in a scrolling S-shape, giving the fitting a traditional aesthetic that works in both period and contemporary interiors where ornamental detail is welcomed.

The polished gold finish on the metalwork has a warm yellow tone that pairs with brass door furniture, warm wood tones and heritage colour schemes. The faceted crystal spheres are cut glass rather than acrylic, giving sharper reflections and heavier weight (1kg total for the fitting). The 15cm projection means the fitting stands clear of the wall enough to cast light both up and down as well as forward, which helps to define the wall plane in narrow hallways or stairwells.

What bulb does it take?

The Novelle takes two G9 capsule bulbs, each up to 33W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit 3-5W LED G9 capsules in warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient decorative light.

Is the crystal real glass or acrylic?

The faceted spheres and teardrop accents are cut glass, giving sharper reflections and more weight than acrylic equivalents. This is why the fitting weighs 1kg despite its compact 28cm width.

What room is it suited to?

Can it be fitted on low ceilings or narrow hallways?

Yes. The 15cm projection from the wall and 20cm vertical height make it suitable for hallways and alcoves where a pendant would hang too low. The light directs upward, downward and forward, helping to define the wall plane without needing significant clearance.
