Manorhall 2 Light Iron Wall Light - Oil-Rubbed Bronze

The Manorhall is a 2 light iron wall light with twin candle-style holders rising from a squared oil-rubbed bronze backplate. The arms extend outward from a central vertical ridge, positioning the two SES bulb fittings (sold separately) in a symmetrical arrangement. The backplate measures 32cm wide with a 17cm projection from the wall, giving the fitting presence without dominating narrower corridors or hallway runs.

Designed for stairways, entrance halls and living room feature walls, the Manorhall pairs with traditional, transitional and heritage interiors where wrought iron, exposed brick or wood panelling provide the architectural context. The fixture can flank large mirrors, artwork or sit either side of a chimney breast to balance the composition. The two 60W maximum SES bulbs provide supplementary ambient light rather than primary task illumination, working alongside ceiling fittings or table lamps in a layered scheme.

The oil-rubbed bronze finish shows tonal variation across the surface, with darker patches in recessed areas and lighter wear patterns on high points, replicating the patina of aged metalwork. The squared backplate and bracket-style supports give the fitting an architectural form that sits comfortably in period homes or contemporary spaces referencing historical detailing. At 2.4kg the fixture needs secure fixing to solid masonry or studwork — the projection and weight make dot-and-dab plasterboard unsuitable without additional support.

What bulb does it take?

The Manorhall takes two SES (E14 small Edison screw) bulbs, each rated up to 60W maximum. Candle-shaped LED or filament bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) suit the traditional aesthetic. Bulbs are sold separately.

Can it be fitted to plasterboard walls?

At 2.4kg the fitting needs secure fixing to solid masonry, brick or timber studwork. Standard dot-and-dab plasterboard without additional backing is not suitable for the weight and projection — use hollow wall anchors rated for 5kg minimum if studwork is not accessible.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs used. LED SES candle bulbs marked as dimmable will work with most trailing-edge dimmers. Non-dimmable LED bulbs may flicker or fail when used with a dimmer switch.

What spacing is needed when installing as a pair?

For flanking mirrors or artwork, position the centres 120-150cm apart depending on the width of the central feature. For either side of a chimney breast, align with the outer edges of the mantel or approximately 80-100cm apart.
