Lunara 1 Light Crystal Wall Light - Gold

The Lunara is a 1 light wall fitting with a hemispherical gold-smoked glass shade suspended from a polished chrome wall bracket, beneath which a cluster of cut crystal droplets hangs on individual chains. The shade measures 22cm in diameter and is made from glass with a gold tint and fine bubble effect inside the material, giving it depth when backlit by a single G9 bulb (sold separately). The chrome bracket projects 26cm from the wall and supports the shade on a horizontal arm.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways and living rooms where decorative accent lighting is needed without overhead fittings, the Lunara works well in pairs flanking a bed, mirror or doorway. The 23cm height and 26cm projection suit rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights and clear wall space without obstructing passage in narrow corridors. The G9 fitting accepts LED capsules, halogen or eco-halogen bulbs up to 28W, giving flexibility to choose the light output and colour temperature that suits the room.

The gold-smoked glass softens the light and creates a warm ambient glow when lit, while the polished chrome provides a cooler metallic contrast. The crystal droplets catch both natural light during the day and artificial light when the bulb is on, adding reflective texture to the fitting. The bubble effect inside the glass is intentional and varies between individual shades depending on where the glass was blown, so no two Lunara fittings look identical when viewed closely.

What bulb does it take?

The Lunara takes a single G9 capsule bulb up to 28W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED G9 capsule between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K for bedroom and hallway use.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The Lunara carries no IP rating and is designed for dry indoor use only. It is not suitable for bathrooms or other high-humidity environments where moisture could affect the chrome, glass or crystal components.

How is the crystal cleaned?

The individual crystal droplets can be wiped gently with a dry microfibre cloth while hanging. For more thorough cleaning, the crystals can be removed from their chains, washed in warm water with a drop of washing-up liquid, rinsed and dried before re-hanging.

Does the bubble effect in the glass vary?

Yes. The bubble effect is created during the glass-blowing process and varies between individual shades depending on where the glass was blown. This is a characteristic of the manufacturing process, not a defect.
