Description

The Lunara is a single-light wall fixture with a copper-tinted bubbled glass dome suspended from a polished chrome wall bracket. Inside the dome, cut crystal droplets hang in a curtain formation, catching and reflecting light from a G9 bulb (sold separately) fitted behind the glass. The bubbled glass texture scatters light outward while the copper tint adds a warm metallic glow to the fixture when lit.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms and sitting rooms where decorative accent lighting is needed rather than primary room illumination, the Lunara mounts 26cm out from the wall on a polished chrome arm and backplate. The compact 22cm diameter dome suits narrow corridors and spaces where a full pendant would drop too low or obstruct movement. Pairs of Lunara wall lights are commonly fitted either side of a bed headboard or at intervals along a hallway to create balanced accent light without ceiling pendants.

The copper-toned glass works well in interiors using warm metallics, mid-tone timber furniture and blush or neutral wall colours. The chrome mount and arm provide a cooler contrast that stops the finish from becoming too warm-dominant. The crystal droplets are individually hung on metal loops inside the dome and move slightly when the fitting is first installed, though they settle once the bulb heat stabilises the interior air.

What bulb does the Lunara take?

The fitting takes a single G9 capsule bulb up to 28W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 3-5W LED G9 in warm white (2700K-3000K) to avoid excessive heat build-up inside the glass dome.

How far does it project from the wall?

The chrome arm extends 26cm from the wall to the centre of the dome. The total projection including the dome depth is approximately 37cm, which is suitable for corridors and spaces where wall clearance of at least 40cm is available.

Can it be fitted in a bathroom?

The Lunara carries no IP rating and is designed for dry interior use only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor installation or other damp environments.

How is the copper-tinted glass cleaned?

Wipe the outer glass surface with a dry microfibre cloth. For marks on the interior, the dome detaches from the chrome frame (switch off power first) and can be wiped with a barely-damp cloth and distilled water, then dried before refitting. Avoid chemical glass cleaners as they can leave residue on the bubbled texture.
