Description

The Luma is a 23cm square crystal wall light with tiered rows of pyramid-cut crystal droplets cascading from a polished gold circular backplate. A single G9 bulb (sold separately, up to 33W) sits behind the crystals, and when lit the faceted glass refracts the light into scattered reflections across the surrounding wall surface.

Designed for hallways, staircases, bedroom walls and either side of mirrors, the Luma works as a single accent or in symmetrical pairs flanking a doorway, headboard or vanity. The 16cm projection from the wall keeps the fitting close enough for narrow corridors while the tiered crystal arrangement gives the light enough depth to cast dimensional patterns. The compact square footprint fits onto walls where larger sconces would overwhelm the available space.

The polished gold finish on the backplate and canopy provides a warm metallic tone that pairs with brass hardware, warm timber joinery and traditional or transitional interiors. Each tier of crystals is cut in a pyramid profile with sharp facets that multiply and scatter the light source, so a modest 33W G9 bulb produces more visual brightness than the raw wattage suggests. What bulb does it take?

The Luma takes a single G9 capsule bulb up to 33W. G9 bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED G9 between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K for ambient wall lighting.

Can it be installed on plasterboard walls?

Yes, but the 2.1kg weight requires proper fixing. Use a plasterboard fixing rated for at least 5kg, or locate a timber stud behind the plasterboard and fix directly into the stud for secure mounting.

Does it work in pairs flanking a mirror?

Yes. The compact 23cm square footprint and symmetrical design make the Luma well-suited to mirror-flanking installations in bathrooms, dressing rooms and hallways. Space the pair 600-900mm apart for balanced illumination either side of a vanity or full-length mirror.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow the bulb to cool. Wipe each crystal droplet gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid spraying cleaning products directly onto the crystals or metal frame.
