Description
The Luma is a 23cm chrome wall light with tiered rows of facet-cut crystal drops arranged in a cascading triangle formation, suspended from a polished chrome circular backplate. A single G9 bulb (sold separately, up to 33W) sits at the centre behind the crystals, casting light through the faceted glass to create prismatic reflections across adjacent walls and ceilings.
Designed for hallways, bedrooms and living rooms where wall-mounted accent light is needed without the drop and scale of a pendant, the Luma works in pairs flanking a hallway mirror or console table, or as a single feature on a bedroom wall beside a headboard. The 16cm projection from the wall gives the crystal arrangement enough depth to catch and refract light while keeping the fixture clear of head height in narrower hallways. The chrome backplate sits flush to the wall, hiding the wiring and fittings behind the crystal structure.
Each crystal drop is precision-cut with multiple facets that catch ambient daylight and create visible sparkle even when the lamp is switched off. When lit, the G9 bulb at the centre casts overlapping prismatic patterns onto surrounding surfaces, turning the wall light into both a functional and decorative element. The polished chrome finish pairs with cool-toned interiors, stainless steel fixtures, glass furniture and contemporary architectural detailing. At 2.1kg the fitting needs secure fixing into solid wall or ceiling joist rather than plasterboard alone.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Luma take?
The fitting takes a single G9 capsule bulb up to 33W, sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white G9 LED between 2W-5W and 2700K-3000K for bedroom or hallway accent lighting. Avoid bulbs exceeding 33W as this may damage the chrome backplate or crystals through heat transfer.
Can it be fitted to a plasterboard wall?
The fixture weighs 2.1kg. Plasterboard alone will not safely support this weight — the backplate must be fixed into solid wall, a timber stud behind the plasterboard, or a ceiling joist if surface-mounted. Use appropriate wall plugs or fixings rated for the weight plus a safety margin.
Does it work as a single fitting or should it be used in pairs?
The Luma works both as a single feature wall light and in symmetrical pairs. Pairs are common flanking hallway mirrors, either side of a headboard, or along a corridor at 1.5-2m intervals. As a single fitting it suits accent positions on living room feature walls or beside bedroom reading chairs.
How is the crystal cleaned?
Switch off and allow the bulb to cool. Wipe each crystal drop with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the chrome backplate or allowing water to enter the bulb holder. Do not use household glass cleaners or sprays — residue can dull the facets.
