Description

The Luen is a 2 light brass wall light with a sculpted central stem that branches into two curved arms, each ending in a candle-style holder topped with a white sleeve. The entire fitting is cast and finished in polished brass, giving a warm reflective surface that catches ambient light. Each arm holds a BC (bayonet cap) bulb rated up to 60W (sold separately).

Designed for hallways, landings, dining rooms and bedroom accent walls, the Luen suits traditional and classical interiors where decorative metalwork is part of the architectural language. The 49cm height and 30cm width give the fitting a vertical presence without dominating a wall section. The 16.5cm projection from the wall positions the light sources forward enough to cast soft ambient light along the wall plane rather than directly onto the surface behind the fitting.

The polished brass finish develops a natural patina over time in environments with higher humidity or where the fitting is frequently handled during bulb changes. This ageing is a characteristic of unlacquered brass and can be maintained or reversed with metal polish depending on preference. The twin-arm structure distributes light evenly across the width of the fitting, making it suitable for symmetrical placement either side of a doorway, mirror or architectural feature. At 1.4kg the fitting requires secure fixing into masonry or a timber stud.
