Description

The Glanmore is a single-arm wall light cast in solid brass with a polished brass finish, built around an ornate oval backplate measuring 9cm wide by 17.5cm high. The backplate features scrollwork detailing and beaded edging cast into the brass, supporting a curved arm that projects 16.5cm from the wall to hold a single BC (bayonet cap) bulb fitting styled as a candle mount. The fitting accepts bulbs up to 60W.

Designed for corridors, staircases, alcoves and bedroom walls where space limits the use of larger multi-arm fittings, the Glanmore provides ambient light from a traditional form factor without overwhelming narrow wall sections. The 17.5cm height allows multiples to be spaced at regular intervals along a stairwell or hallway without visually crowding the wall. The polished brass finish reflects ambient light, adding warmth to neutral walls and depth to darker paint tones.

The solid brass construction gives the fitting a 1kg weight that feels substantial during handling, and the casting detail in the backplate scrollwork gives a finished appearance that suits period interiors with cornicing, panelling or antique furniture.
