Description

The Georin is a 2-light wall bracket built from solid brass with a light bronze finish, featuring an oval backplate edged with beaded detailing and two curved arms that each hold a candle-style BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulb holder. The backplate measures 26.5cm wide by 18cm high, with the arms projecting 13cm from the wall. Each arm supports a socket rated to 60W, giving the fitting a total capacity of 120W when fitted with incandescent bulbs or equivalent LED candle bulbs.

Designed for hallways, landing walls, either side of a fireplace or flanking a mirror in period-style interiors, the Georin provides symmetrical uplighting and ambient fill without a shade. The open candle holders allow the bulb shape to contribute to the aesthetic, so filament-style LED candles or traditional flame-tip incandescent bulbs enhance the period character. The light bronze finish — a muted warm tone darker than polished brass but lighter than antique brass — avoids high reflectivity and pairs well with heritage paint colours, wood panelling and traditional furnishings.

The solid brass construction gives the fitting a 400g weight that feels substantial when mounted, and the beaded edge detail on the oval backplate adds depth without over-ornamentation. The fitting suits Georgian, Victorian and country house schemes where traditional wall lighting is needed but available wall space is limited. Installation requires a standard back box and the backplate conceals the fixing screws behind the oval frame once mounted.
