Description
The Floren is an 18cm diameter crystal table lamp built around a single polished chrome column, with a cylindrical chrome shade filled with cascading crystal droplets suspended from the frame. An integrated 6W LED inside the shade illuminates the crystal elements, which catch and refract the light across multiple faceted surfaces. The lamp stands 45cm tall on a circular chrome base.
Designed for bedside tables, console surfaces and office desks where both ambient light and decorative texture are needed, the Floren's compact footprint suits smaller rooms and narrow surfaces without overwhelming them. The lamp works effectively in pairs, framing either side of a bed, mirror or shelving unit with symmetrical polish. The 6W LED provides enough output for close-range ambient light but not task reading, making it better suited to mood lighting than functional work light.
The combination of polished chrome and faceted crystal pairs naturally with glass, marble, lacquered finishes and contemporary monochrome interiors. The chrome finish is a true mirror polish rather than brushed or satin, so it reflects surrounding light and colour strongly. At 2.9kg the lamp has enough weight to remain stable on most surfaces without needing to be secured, and the crystal elements are individual faceted drops rather than strung beads, giving each piece distinct light refraction.

Frequently Asked
Is the Floren bright enough for reading?
The integrated 6W LED provides ambient light rather than focused task light. It works well for mood lighting on a bedside table or console, but is not designed to replace a dedicated reading lamp or desk task light.
Is the LED replaceable?
The LED is integrated into the lamp's circuit and is not designed to be user-replaceable. LED modules typically have a rated lifespan of 15,000-25,000 hours depending on use pattern.
How is the crystal maintained?
The crystal droplets can be wiped gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the chrome frame or allowing water to enter the lamp housing. Do not use chemical sprays or abrasive cleaners on either the chrome or crystal.
Does the lamp get hot during use?
LED lamps generate significantly less heat than halogen or incandescent equivalents. The chrome frame may become slightly warm to the touch after extended use, but not hot enough to cause discomfort or surface damage.
