Description

The Facet is a compact crystal pendant light built around a single tier of angled lead crystal pieces suspended from a polished chrome canopy. The pendant houses one SES (E14) bulb fitting up to 40W, positioned within the crystal tier so that light refracts through the individual cut facets and projects both downward and outward through the crystal surfaces.

At 25cm diameter and 26cm drop height, the Facet works as bedside lighting, dressing room task lighting, or grouped in sets of two or three over kitchen islands and breakfast bars where compact pendants suit lower ceiling heights or narrower worktop widths. The slim vertical form means the pendant can be installed in corridors or above hallway console tables without obstructing sightlines. The 3kg weight requires a ceiling rose rated for the load, but the chain suspension allows the drop to be adjusted during installation.

The lead crystal is cut with multiple facets on each individual piece, creating internal reflection and surface sparkle under both natural daylight and artificial light. The polished chrome canopy and chain provide a high-gloss metallic contrast to the clear crystal, and the chrome finish pairs cleanly with contemporary, mid-century and minimalist interiors. When grouped in multiples, the Facet pendants create a repeated geometric motif without visual bulk.

What bulb does the Facet take?

The pendant uses a single SES (E14 small Edison screw) bulb up to 40W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit a 4-6W LED candle bulb in warm white (2700K-3000K) for softer ambient light, or a clear filament-style LED for more sparkle through the crystal.

Can multiple Facet pendants be installed together?

Yes. The compact 25cm diameter suits grouped installations over kitchen islands, breakfast bars or stairwells. Spacing three pendants 40-50cm apart over a 1.5-1.8m island is a common configuration. Each pendant requires its own ceiling rose and wiring point.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Lead crystal can be cleaned with a soft microfibre cloth, either dry or slightly dampened with distilled water. For more thorough cleaning, individual crystal pieces can be wiped gently with a water-and-vinegar solution (50/50 mix), then buffed dry to restore clarity and prevent water spotting.

Is the drop height adjustable?

The 26cm height listed is the pendant body only. The chain suspension allows the total drop from ceiling to pendant base to be adjusted during installation depending on ceiling height and placement requirements.
