Description

The Energizer Smart WiFi Pan & Tilt Indoor Camera records 1080p Full HD video with a 100-degree field of view, remotely controlled pan and tilt movement, and motion-triggered alerts sent to your smartphone. The camera connects to 2.4GHz WiFi networks and streams live video to the Energizer Smart app (iOS and Android), with 24 hours of rolling cloud storage included and optional microSD card support for local recording.

Designed for monitoring rooms, hallways, nurseries and home offices, the camera sits on a flat surface or mounts to a wall using the supplied bracket. The pan and tilt motors allow remote adjustment of the viewing angle through the app, so you can follow movement or check different areas of the room without repositioning the camera itself. Motion detection triggers automatic recording and push notifications, with adjustable sensitivity to reduce false alerts from pets or passing shadows.

Two-way audio uses the built-in microphone and speaker for live conversation through the app, allowing you to speak to family members, pets or delivery drivers while away from home. Night vision switches on automatically in low light, using infrared LEDs to record in complete darkness up to approximately 10 metres. The camera integrates with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri for voice control of basic functions like viewing the live feed on smart displays.

The white plastic housing measures approximately 110mm tall on its base, with a compact footprint that fits on shelves, desks and windowsills without blocking sightlines. The IP20 rating limits the camera to indoor use only — it is not weatherproof and should not be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor locations.

Does it require a subscription for cloud storage?

The camera includes 24 hours of rolling cloud storage at no additional cost. Longer retention periods and additional features may be available through optional paid subscription tiers, but basic 24-hour cloud recording is included with purchase.

Can I record to a memory card instead of the cloud?

Yes. The camera supports microSD cards (sold separately) for local recording. This allows continuous recording independent of cloud storage and internet connection, though the card must be physically removed to review footage on another device.

What WiFi does it need?

The camera connects to 2.4GHz WiFi networks only. It does not support 5GHz WiFi bands. Your router must broadcast a 2.4GHz network for the camera to connect and stream video.

Can it be used outdoors or in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the camera is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It is not weatherproof and should not be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms, outdoor porches or any location exposed to moisture or rain.
