Description

The Emberly Small is a 15cm diameter Moroccan-style crystal pendant built around a satin brass lattice framework with a central strand of faceted crystals suspended inside. The bulbous shape tapers at both ends, with the brass framework forming an open cage that allows light to escape sideways while the crystal strand refracts and directs light downwards. A single BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulb fitting sits inside the frame, with the bulb visible through the lattice when lit.

Designed for bedside tables, reading nooks, entrance halls and kitchen islands where ceiling height is limited or a smaller pendant is proportionally appropriate, the Emberly Small measures 28.5cm in total height including the finial and fitting. The compact 15cm diameter suits rooms where a pendant needs presence without overwhelming the space. The satin brass finish provides a warmer, less reflective tone than polished brass, pairing comfortably with both traditional and eclectic interiors.

The lattice framework uses solid brass with hand-finished cutouts following traditional Moroccan lantern patterns, giving each pendant slight tonal variation in the metalwork. The crystal strand inside the cage catches and refracts light from the bulb, scattering warm points of light across adjacent surfaces when the pendant is lit. The Emberly Small can be installed singly or in pairs over a kitchen island or dining table, with the elongated vertical proportion working particularly well in rooms with lower ceilings (2.3m-2.5m) where a spherical pendant might appear compressed.

The 1.3kg weight requires a ceiling rose and chain capable of supporting a small pendant without additional reinforcement in typical plasterboard ceilings.
