Description

The Dauren V1 is a solid brass wall light with a single curved arm extending from an oval backplate decorated with acanthus leaf scrollwork. The backplate measures 6.5cm wide and 26.5cm high, with deep relief carving that casts its own shadows when the light is switched on. The arm projects 17cm from the wall and terminates in a candle cup with a BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulb holder rated to 60W.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, dining rooms and staircases in classical, Georgian and heritage interiors, the Dauren V1 works as paired sconces flanking a doorway or mirror, or as a single accent on a landing wall. The 17cm projection clears door architraves and picture rails without blocking passage, while the 26.5cm height balances visually against standard skirting and cornice mouldings. The BC fitting accepts both LED filament bulbs and traditional candle-style bulbs.

The polished brass finish is lacquered to resist tarnishing and reflects ambient light during the day, adding warmth to both pale walls and deeper paint colours. The acanthus leaf detailing on the backplate follows a traditional Victorian pattern with flared edges and deep grooves that catch the light when the bulb is lit. At 0.60kg the wall light requires a solid fixing into masonry or a stud wall with appropriate rawlplugs.

The Dauren V1 takes a BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED candle bulb between 4-6W and 2700K for a traditional glow.

Yes, but the 0.60kg weight requires a secure fixing. On stud walls use appropriate cavity fixings or mount directly into the stud. On masonry use the supplied fixings or appropriate rawlplugs for your wall type.
