Description

The Coral is a single-light wall fitting built around a curved matt gold frame with vertical clear glass rods arranged in parallel rows behind the front face. The glass rods diffuse light horizontally across the wall surface while the curved top and base of the frame soften the geometric structure. An E14 bulb sits behind the glass rod array, casting light through the transparent elements rather than directly into the room.

Designed for hallways, dressing rooms, bedside walls and entrance areas where ambient wash lighting is needed without the projection of a traditional wall sconce, the Coral mounts flush to the wall with a 26cm height and minimal forward projection. The vertical rod pattern creates visual rhythm without the visual weight of a solid shade, making it suitable for narrow corridors or beside mirrors where a bulkier fitting would intrude on circulation space.

The matt gold finish on the frame provides a warm metallic accent that pairs well with brass hardware, warm-toned timber finishes and neutral wall colours. The glass rods are clear rather than frosted, so the bulb filament or LED element remains visible through the structure — pairing with a warm-white decorative filament LED bulb (sold separately) enhances the visual effect when the light is on.

The Coral uses a single E14 small Edison screw bulb (sold separately). Most users pair this with a 4-6W warm-white LED candle or golf ball bulb, or a decorative filament LED where the bulb remains visible through the glass rods.

How far does it project from the wall?

The fitting projects approximately 8-10cm from the wall face once installed, making it suitable for narrow hallways and circulation areas where a deeper sconce would intrude on passage width.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The Coral carries no IP rating and is designed for dry indoor use only. It is not suitable for bathroom zones 1 or 2 where moisture levels are high.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb used. Pair with a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer for adjustable light levels.
