Description

The Coral is a 15cm cylindrical pendant light built around a matt gold metal frame ringed with vertical crystal rods that diffuse light outward as it passes through the single E14 bulb inside. The crystal rods are fixed between a top and bottom brass band, creating a cage-like structure that casts both direct light downward and refracted light through the transparent rods.

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, dining tables and hallway entries, the Coral works as a single drop over a small table or in multiples spaced 600-800mm apart along an island worktop. The 40cm drop from canopy to base suits ceiling heights of 2.4m or above when hung 700-800mm above a dining or work surface. The pendant accepts a single E14 bulb up to 40W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose the colour temperature and brightness that fits the room.

The matt gold finish on the metal bands provides a warmer tone than polished brass, minimising harsh reflections and pairing comfortably with oak, walnut and warm-toned stone worktops. The vertical crystal rods run the full height of the pendant, so when the bulb is lit the entire cylinder appears to glow rather than concentrating light at a single point. At 1.8kg the pendant carries enough physical presence to read as a solid fixture without overwhelming a small table or compact kitchen zone.

What bulb does it take?

The Coral takes a single E14 (small Edison screw) bulb up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 4-6W LED candle or golf ball bulb in warm white (2700K-3000K) for dining and kitchen use.

Can multiple pendants be hung in a row?

Yes. The single-drop format is designed to be repeated. Space pendants 600-800mm apart along a kitchen island or dining table for balanced coverage without visual crowding.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 40cm pendant height works in rooms with 2.4m or higher ceilings when hung 700-800mm above a worktop or table surface. Lower ceilings may require shortening the suspension cable during installation.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Wipe the crystal rods with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or grease, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Avoid household glass cleaners as residue can build up between the rods and the metal frame.
