Coral 1 Light Pendant Light - Chrome

The Coral is a 15cm diameter pendant light built around a chrome-framed cylindrical drum encased in vertical glass rods that refract and diffuse light from a single E14 bulb (sold separately). The chrome canopy and suspension cable support the 40cm-tall fixture, which hangs from a mirror-polished chrome ceiling rose. The glass rods are arrayed radially around the drum, creating a ribbed outer surface that catches and scatters light both from the bulb inside and from ambient daylight in the room.

Designed for above-counter installation in kitchens, over side tables in bedrooms, or clustered in multiples above a dining table, the Coral delivers ambient light through a compact footprint. The 15cm diameter suits smaller ceilings and tighter spaces where a larger pendant would overwhelm the proportions. Multiple Coral pendants can be installed in a row above a kitchen island or at staggered heights to create visual rhythm. The E14 fitting accepts candle-style LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to 40W.

The chrome finish provides a reflective surface that amplifies available light and pairs cleanly with stainless steel appliances, glass backsplashes and polished worktops in contemporary kitchens. The glass rods soften the chrome's hardness, adding texture and a degree of sparkle when the pendant is lit. At 1.8kg the fitting has enough weight to hang straight on the cable without additional ceiling reinforcement beyond a standard UK ceiling rose.

What bulb does it take?

The Coral takes a single E14 candle-style bulb up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for ambient lighting over counters or side tables.

Can multiple pendants be installed in a row?

Yes. The compact 15cm diameter makes the Coral well-suited to multiple installation above kitchen islands or dining tables. Space individual pendants 60-80cm apart centre-to-centre for even light distribution and visual balance.

What height should it hang above a worktop?

For kitchen counter installation, position the bottom of the pendant 70-90cm above the worktop surface. This provides task light without the pendant entering the sightline of someone standing at the counter.

How is the glass cleaned?

The vertical glass rods can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth when the bulb is off and cool. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Avoid spraying glass cleaner directly onto the fitting — spray onto the cloth first to prevent liquid entering the lamp holder.
