Description

The Colven is a 460mm diameter lantern pendant with six candle-style SES bulb fittings arranged inside a cylindrical clear glass enclosure, framed by polished chrome metalwork. The chrome frame runs vertically through the lantern with decorative scrollwork arching over the top, connecting to a polished chrome ceiling canopy via a matching chain. The clear glass panels wrap the full circumference of the lantern, turning the interior bulbs into the primary light source and the chrome framework into visible architectural detail.

Designed for hallways, entrance halls and staircases where ceiling heights allow a 690mm drop plus chain length, the Colven provides both ambient and decorative light. The six-bulb configuration delivers sufficient brightness for functional circulation spaces while the glass-and-chrome form gives the fitting presence without bulk. The lantern suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, typically hung so the base of the fitting sits 2.1-2.2m above floor level in a hallway or stairwell.

The polished chrome finish reflects available daylight and pairs with cooler-toned interiors, stainless steel door furniture and modern or transitional schemes. Is the glass removable for bulb changes?

Yes. The glass panels are held in place by the chrome frame structure and can be removed to access the bulb fittings inside. Refer to the fitting instructions for the specific disassembly method for this model.
