Description

The Brindle is a 2-light iron wall light with a rectangular backplate mounting two outward-curving arms, each terminating in a fluted candle-style holder that takes an SES (E14) bulb up to 60W. The aged bronze finish gives the metalwork a warm, oxidised patina with tonal variation across the surface, and the arms extend 16.5cm from the wall on a bracket that spans 33.5cm horizontally.

Designed for hallways, staircases, living room alcoves and traditional dining rooms, the Brindle provides decorative accent lighting rather than primary illumination. The twin candle holders sit at slightly different heights due to the curving arm geometry, creating visual interest when fitted in pairs on opposite walls or as a row along a corridor. The 17cm overall height allows the fitting to sit comfortably between dado and picture rail heights without overwhelming the wall surface.

The iron construction gives the fitting a solid 1.7kg weight, and the aged bronze finish pairs well with period features, darker paint tones, exposed timber and natural stone. The fluted detailing on each candle holder and the gentle scrollwork on the backplate reference traditional wrought-iron lighting without heavy ornamentation. When fitted with flame-effect or warm-white filament SES bulbs the light reflects off the bronze finish and casts upward pools of light onto adjacent walls and ceilings.
