Bressa 2 Light Crystal Wall Light - Polished Nickel

The Bressa is a 2-light crystal wall light built on a square polished nickel backplate with two curved arms, each supporting a faceted optical glass shade and a hanging faceted crystal drop. The optical glass shades refract light into prismatic patterns, while the crystal drops add secondary reflections across the wall surface. Each arm takes a G9 bulb up to 33W (sold separately).

Designed for hallways, flanking bathroom mirrors, or either side of a fireplace, the Bressa provides symmetrical accent lighting with decorative presence. The 18cm projection suits walls where a deeper fitting would obstruct doorways or circulation routes. The 32cm width across both arms works on walls 1.5m or wider, allowing pairs of Bressas to be installed at regular intervals along a corridor without visual crowding.

The polished nickel finish gives a cool metallic tone that pairs with chrome taps, brushed steel handles and grey-toned interiors. The optical glass shades are precision-cut with faceted edges that catch light from multiple angles, creating depth when viewed from the side or below. The hanging crystal drops are faceted lead crystal, adding weight and movement to the fitting. The combined glass, crystal and metal construction gives the Bressa a 1.5kg presence once mounted.

What bulbs does the Bressa take?

The Bressa takes two G9 capsule bulbs, each rated up to 33W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED G9 bulbs between 2.5-4W and 2700K-3000K for accent lighting. G9 halogen bulbs are also compatible but run hotter and consume more energy.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

The Bressa carries no IP rating and is designed for dry indoor use only. It can be installed in bathrooms outside the designated splash zones (typically Zone 0, 1 and 2), such as on a wall opposite a basin or above a door frame, but should not be placed directly above or adjacent to a bath or shower enclosure.

How is the crystal cleaned?

The faceted optical glass shades and lead crystal drops can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Avoid household glass cleaners or sprays that may leave residue in the facet cuts. The polished nickel backplate and arms can be wiped with a soft cloth; avoid abrasive materials that would scratch the finish.

Can it be installed as a single fitting or does it need to be paired?

The Bressa works as a single fitting or in pairs. Pairs create symmetry when flanking mirrors, fireplaces or along corridors, but a single Bressa provides sufficient accent lighting for smaller alcoves or feature walls.
