Bostin Crystal Obelisk Table Lamp - Nickel Base

The Bostin is a 43cm crystal table lamp built around a faceted obelisk column that tapers inward at the centre before flaring into a wide crown at the top. The crystal sits on a curved nickel-finished base that provides stability and contrasts the transparency of the crystal with a cool metallic accent. A single BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulb fitting sits beneath the crown, and the lamp accepts bulbs up to 60W (sold separately).

Designed for consoles, dressing tables, bedside positions and hallway surfaces where vertical structure is needed without visual bulk, the Bostin combines the formality of neoclassical proportions with the lightness of clear crystal. The faceted surfaces catch and refract light when the bulb is lit, creating highlights across the obelisk form. The 17cm diameter base footprint is stable on narrow console tops and corner surfaces.

The nickel finish on the base is polished to a cool metallic sheen that pairs with chrome, brushed steel and silver-toned interiors, as well as darker woods and monochrome schemes. The crystal is cast in a single piece with internal faceting that gives depth and definition to the obelisk shape. At 2.5kg the lamp has enough mass to sit securely without tipping on uneven surfaces or when the shade is fitted.

What bulb does the Bostin take?

The lamp takes a BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED candle or golf ball bulb between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for ambient bedroom or console lighting.

Does it come with a shade?

The Bostin is designed to be used with or without a shade. The crystal obelisk form is decorative in itself, and many buyers use the lamp bare-bulb with a decorative filament or candle LED. A small drum or empire shade can be added if preferred.

What height surface does it suit?

At 43cm tall the Bostin works on console tables typically 75-85cm high, dressing tables around 75cm, and bedside tables 50-60cm high. On a bedside table the lamp will sit level with or slightly above a pillow, providing readable task light when paired with the right bulb.

How is the crystal cleaned?

The faceted crystal can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Avoid spraying glass cleaner directly onto the crystal, as it may run into the bulb fitting or onto the nickel base.
