Description
The Bostin is a 47cm table lamp built around three stacked crystal orbs aligned along a polished nickel stem, mounted on a circular nickel base. Each orb is cut and faceted from clear crystal, catching and refracting ambient light from the room as well as the light from the BC (B22) bulb fitted at the top of the stem. The bulb sits inside a small cylinder at the apex, above the three main orbs.
Designed for bedside tables, console tables in hallways, and sideboards in dining rooms or living rooms, the Bostin suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher where the 47cm height does not dominate the sightline. The 15cm diameter footprint fits standard bedside tables and narrow consoles without overhang. The vertical structure draws the eye upward, making it useful for balancing low furniture or creating a layered composition when paired in symmetrical arrangements either side of a bed or sofa.
The polished nickel finish provides a cool-toned metallic that pairs with chrome fixtures, stainless steel appliances, and contemporary interiors that favour greys, whites and blacks. The faceted crystal orbs show different light patterns depending on the angle of view and the brightness of the bulb fitted, with more pronounced sparkle under halogen or clear LED filament bulbs than under frosted or diffused LEDs. The lamp weighs 3kg, giving it stability on most surfaces without needing to be secured.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does it take?
The Bostin takes a BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K. A clear filament bulb will show more sparkle through the crystal orbs than a frosted or diffused LED.
How is the crystal cleaned?
Switch off and allow the bulb to cool fully before cleaning. Wipe each crystal orb with a dry microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the crystal or using chemical sprays which can leave streaks.
Can it be used on either side of a bed?
Yes. The 15cm diameter footprint fits most bedside tables and the symmetrical design works well in pairs. Ensure there is enough space above the bedside table for the 47cm height without the lamp blocking sightlines across the room.
Does the shade come with the lamp?
No separate shade is included or required. The bulb sits exposed at the top of the stem above the three crystal orbs, so the bulb itself is visible when the lamp is switched on. A decorative filament bulb or a small globe bulb works better visually than a standard pear-shaped bulb.
