Description

The Beamline is a 230mm diameter lead crystal pendant light with a shallow bowl-shaped frame in antique brass supporting multiple tiers of faceted lead crystal droplets. The crystals hang in a tight formation around the central BC bulb fitting (bulb sold separately), creating a bowl profile that tapers slightly towards the base. The antique brass frame shows a warm, aged patina that contrasts with the clear crystal.

Designed for narrower spaces where a full chandelier would overpower the proportions, the Beamline suits hallways, cloakrooms, powder rooms, and compact entrance areas with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The 280mm overall height and chain suspension allow the pendant to be positioned 600-900mm above a console table or 1800-2000mm above floor level in a hallway. The single BC fitting accepts up to 60W, providing enough light for ambient and decorative function in a 2-3m space.

The lead crystal droplets refract light from the central bulb, scattering spectrums across walls and ceilings when a clear filament or LED bulb is used. The antique brass frame ages naturally over time, developing a deeper patina in higher-humidity environments. At 1kg total weight, the pendant hangs from standard UK ceiling roses without additional reinforcement. What bulb does the Beamline take?

The pendant uses a BC (B22 bayonet cap) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED filament bulb between 4-8W and 2700K for the combination of vintage appearance and energy efficiency.
