Description

The Aruna is a 20cm diameter crystal pendant light built around a tiered column of vertical crystal rods suspended from a polished chrome ceiling mount. The rods taper in two stages, creating a narrow top tier and wider lower tier that catches ambient light and refracts it through the crystal facets. A single E14 bulb sits within the column, visible through the rods when lit.

Designed for bedside suspension, kitchen counter runs, or hallway pairs, the Aruna provides task and decorative light from a compact 20cm footprint. The 46cm overall height suits ceiling heights of 2.4m and above when hung 600-800mm above a bedside table or 700-900mm above a kitchen counter. Installing two or three Aruna pendants in a row creates symmetry over a breakfast bar or island without overwhelming narrower spaces.

The polished chrome mount and rod fixings reflect cooler light tones and pair cleanly with white, grey and glass-heavy interiors. Each crystal rod is individually fixed to the chrome frame, creating a faceted surface that moves light around the room as the bulb dims or brightens. The combined weight of 2.3kg includes the crystal and metal frame, giving the pendant a solid presence once installed.

What bulb does it take?

The Aruna takes a single E14 small Edison screw bulb up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED candle bulb between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K to soften the chrome and crystal reflections.

Can multiple Aruna pendants be hung in a row?

Yes. The compact 20cm diameter allows two or three Aruna pendants to be spaced 400-600mm apart over a kitchen counter or island without visual crowding. Each pendant requires its own ceiling rose.

Is the drop adjustable?

The 46cm height shown in the specification is the total height of the pendant from ceiling mount to the bottom of the crystal column. If an adjustable cable or chain is used during installation, the drop can be shortened to suit lower ceilings or specific mounting positions.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power and allow the bulb to cool. Wipe each crystal rod individually with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the rods or using household glass cleaners near the chrome fixings.
