Description

The Alfaisis is a 50cm linear LED landscape ground light with an integrated 18W 3000K LED module housed in a white powder-coated aluminium body. Twelve individual LED lenses sit along the top face of the housing, directing light upwards or outwards depending on the mounting angle. The fitting carries an IP65 rating for year-round outdoor installation in exposed positions.

Designed for architectural facade lighting, retaining wall wash, pathway edging and perimeter feature planting, the Alfaisis mounts to hard surfaces using the folding bracket feet at each end. The bracket feet allow the fitting to be angled between horizontal and approximately 45 degrees, giving control over the beam direction without needing to adjust the mounting surface. The 500mm length suits single-run applications or can be ganged in series for longer runs.

The white powder-coated finish resists UV degradation and corrosion in coastal or high-humidity environments. The aluminium housing dissipates LED heat efficiently, maintaining the 3000K colour temperature and extending LED lifespan beyond 30,000 hours under typical outdoor conditions. The non-dimmable driver is built into the housing and wired to mains via a single cable entry point at one end.

From Ideal Lux, the Alfaisis carries a 5-year manufacturer warranty covering both the LED module and the driver. The fitting weighs approximately 1.2kg and is supplied with stainless steel fixing screws suitable for masonry and timber substrates.

What does IP65 mean for outdoor use?

IP65 means the fitting is fully dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. It can be installed in exposed positions including under eaves, on retaining walls, and in open gardens where it will be subject to rain, hose wash-down, and general weather year-round.

Can the angle be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The bracket feet at each end allow the fitting to tilt between horizontal and approximately 45 degrees. This adjustment is made during installation by loosening the bracket screws, angling the housing, and re-tightening. Once fixed in position, the angle remains set.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 18W LED module is integrated into the housing and designed to last the serviceable life of the fitting (typically 30,000+ hours). The fitting cannot be retrofitted with a different light source.

What colour is the light output?

The LED produces warm white light at 3000K, which is similar to a halogen bulb and suits residential and hospitality outdoor lighting where a neutral-to-warm tone is preferred over cool daylight white.
