Description

The Alfaisis is a 1m LED landscape ground light with an integrated 18W 3000K LED strip housed inside a white powder-coated aluminium extrusion. The fitting mounts to hard surfaces via two end brackets and sits 95mm proud, directing light upwards or outwards depending on the mounting angle. An IP65 rating seals the LEDs against rain and dust ingress.

Designed for architectural facade lighting, pathway edge definition, and garden border illumination, the 1m length covers larger spans than standard recessed uplights without needing multiple fittings. The white finish blends into rendered walls, white-painted fences and light-coloured paving during daylight, while the 3000K output provides warm white light after dark. The fitting is non-dimmable and draws 18W continuously when powered.

The aluminium extrusion acts as both the structural housing and the heat sink for the LED strip, keeping the LEDs within their rated operating temperature across UK summer temperatures. The two mounting brackets fix to walls, ground-level plinths or timber decking frames, and the 1m span between them means one fitting can wash a standard garage door width or a 3-4m section of garden wall depending on the standoff distance. The white powder coat resists UV fading and salt corrosion in coastal installations.

Can the Alfaisis be mounted vertically on a wall?

Yes. The two end brackets allow the fitting to be mounted horizontally along the ground, vertically on a wall, or at an angle on a sloped surface. The light direction follows the orientation of the fitting.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 18W LED strip is integrated into the fitting and not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for 30,000+ hours of operation, equivalent to approximately 10 years of typical outdoor use at 8 hours per night.

What does IP65 mean in practice?

IP65 means the fitting is dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. It can be installed in exposed positions subject to rain, but should not be submerged or installed where it will sit in standing water.

Can multiple Alfaisis fittings be connected end-to-end?

Each fitting operates independently and requires its own mains supply connection. They can be positioned end-to-end visually to create a continuous light line, but they are not electrically linkable in a daisy-chain configuration.
