Description

The Light Stick is a 90cm vertical LED wall light built around a slim black aluminium body with an integrated 10W LED module behind a white acrylic diffuser. The cylindrical fitting measures 9cm across and projects 7cm from the wall, running the full 90cm height to create a vertical line of 3000K warm white light. The diffuser softens the LED output into glare-free wash light that runs up or down the wall depending on mounting orientation.

Designed for hallways, staircases, bedside positions and feature walls in residential and commercial interiors, the Light Stick suits spaces where vertical accent lighting is needed without the visual weight of a traditional wall sconce. The 90cm height works well flanking doorways, running alongside mirrors, or marking the edges of alcoves and recesses. The fitting mounts directly to a standard UK back box and the IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations.

The black finish is powder-coated onto the aluminium body, giving a consistent matt surface that resists fingerprints and pairs cleanly with both monochrome and warm-toned interiors. The 10W LED outputs 800 lumens at 3000K, delivering enough light for task visibility in a hallway or stairwell without overwhelming smaller rooms. The high CRI (colour rendering index) preserves natural colour tones in furnishings and finishes under the light. The acrylic diffuser is translucent white when unlit and glows evenly across the full 90cm when powered.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the Light Stick is only suitable for dry indoor locations. It cannot be used in bathrooms, utility rooms, or any space where moisture or steam is present.

Is the LED replaceable?

The 10W LED module is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000-30,000 hours of use, which equates to around 10-15 years of typical residential use before any dimming occurs.

Does it need to be mounted vertically?

The Light Stick is designed as a vertical fitting and works best when mounted upright. Horizontal mounting is possible but changes the light distribution pattern and may affect the visual balance of the design.

What wall clearance is needed for installation?

The fitting projects 7cm from the wall and requires access to a standard UK back box for wiring. Ensure there is at least 5cm of clearance above and below the 90cm height for safe installation and heat dissipation.
