What bulb does the Yaiza take?

The lamp takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 20W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED globe or filament-style LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient lighting.

Can it be used outdoors?

The IP20 rating limits the Yaiza to dry indoor environments or fully covered outdoor spaces where the lamp is protected from rain, condensation and moisture. It is not suitable for open patios, gardens or bathrooms.

Does the weave vary between lamps?

Yes. Each shade is hand-braided from paper rope, so slight variation in weave density, tonal shading and pattern alignment is normal. This is a characteristic of the handmade construction, not a defect.

How is the paper shade cleaned?

Use a soft brush or dry microfibre cloth to remove dust from the weave. Do not use water, sprays or cleaning solutions — the paper rope is absorbent and will stain or weaken if wet.
