The Vexa is a 10cm diameter cylindrical pendant built from precision-cut K9 crystal facets arranged in a tight lattice around a single G9 bulb fitting, suspended from a smoked chrome canopy. The smoked chrome finish on the canopy and mounting hardware provides a muted metallic contrast to the clear crystal, softening the traditional sparkle of faceted crystal into something more architectural.

Designed as a compact pendant for bedside tables, compact dining areas, kitchen islands and hallways with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Vexa works both as a single fitting and in multiples. When grouped in a row of three or five over a kitchen island or dining table, the repeated cylindrical forms create a rhythmic visual texture without overwhelming the space. The 19cm drop plus suspension cable allows the pendant to sit 600-800mm above a worktop or table depending on ceiling height.

The K9 crystal shell is constructed from individual faceted pieces fitted to a metal frame, with each facet angled to catch and refract light from the central G9 bulb. The smoked chrome canopy and cable grip provide a cooler, more industrial edge than polished chrome or brass, pairing comfortably with monochrome palettes, concrete finishes and matt black metalwork. The compact 10cm diameter and lightweight 0.6kg construction suit lower-profile installations where a larger chandelier would visually dominate.

What bulb does it take?

The Vexa uses a single G9 capsule bulb up to 33W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a G9 LED between 3-5W at 2700K-3000K for warm ambient light. The compact G9 fitting sits inside the crystal shell and is largely concealed when lit.

Can I install multiples over a kitchen island?

Yes. The 10cm diameter and lightweight construction make the Vexa well-suited to grouped installations. Three or five pendants spaced 400-600mm apart work well over a 2-3m island or dining table. Each pendant requires its own ceiling rose or connection to a multi-pendant canopy system.

Is the smoked chrome finish dark?

The smoked chrome is a mid-tone metallic finish that sits between polished chrome and gunmetal. It has a subtle satin sheen rather than a mirror polish, reducing reflections and giving a more muted, industrial appearance than traditional polished chrome crystal fittings.

How is the crystal cleaned?

K9 crystal is harder and less porous than natural stone but still benefits from gentle handling. Wipe individual facets with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or residue, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water and dry immediately. Avoid household sprays or chemical cleaners.
