Description

The PowerMaster Flexi Style is a task desk lamp with an adjustable gooseneck arm connecting a conical metal shade to a circular weighted base, both finished in white. The lamp accepts a standard E27 Edison screw bulb (sold separately) and operates on 220-240V mains via a 1.6m cable with an inline on/off switch.

Designed for desks, workbenches and bedside tables where directed light is needed for reading, writing or close work, the flexible arm allows the lamp head to be positioned at different heights and angles without needing a multi-jointed mechanism. The weighted base provides stability on flat surfaces and the compact 130mm footprint means it sits comfortably on a typical desk without occupying workspace.

The lamp housing is constructed from iron and plastic, with the metal shade directing light downward onto the work surface while the white finish keeps the lamp visually unobtrusive in home offices, study rooms and bedrooms. The E27 lampholder accepts LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to the rated wattage, giving flexibility to choose the colour temperature and brightness that suits the task.

What bulb does the PowerMaster desk lamp take?

It takes a standard E27 Edison screw bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED between 6-10W for desk work, or a cooler daylight LED for tasks requiring colour accuracy.

How flexible is the arm?

The gooseneck arm bends and holds position along its full length, allowing the lamp head to be directed at different angles and heights. The arm provides enough resistance to hold the head in place once positioned, but can be adjusted by hand without tools.

Is it dimmable?

No. The lamp has a simple on/off switch and does not support dimming. If variable brightness is needed, pair it with a dimmable E27 LED bulb and install a compatible inline dimmer or plug-in dimmer module.

Can it be used as a bedside reading lamp?

Yes. The adjustable arm allows the light to be directed onto a book or tablet without disturbing a partner, and the 1.6m cable provides reach to a standard UK socket from a typical bedside table position.
