Description
The PowerMaster 20W LED Telescopic Worklight is a mains-powered site light delivering 1600 lumens at 6500K daylight white through a 20W LED panel housed in an IP65-rated slimline floodlight head. The light sits on a yellow powder-coated telescopic tripod stand that extends from approximately 60cm to 170cm, allowing the floodlight to be positioned at working height for construction, automotive work, painting and decorating, or outdoor tasks.
Designed for temporary installation on building sites, workshops, garages and driveways, the worklight runs from a standard 230V UK mains supply via a fitted 3-pin plug on a 3m cable. The tripod legs fold flat for transport and storage, and the floodlight head tilts on its bracket to direct the 120-degree beam onto a work surface, wall, or floor area. The IP65 rating protects the LED panel and driver against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, making the light suitable for outdoor use in typical UK weather conditions.
The die-cast aluminium floodlight housing dissipates heat from the LED panel without requiring a cooling fan, keeping the light silent during operation. The 6500K colour temperature produces a cool daylight white that provides high contrast and colour accuracy for tasks requiring detailed visual work such as tiling, electrical installation, or surface inspection. The non-dimmable driver delivers constant 1600-lumen output throughout the operating period, avoiding the brightness fade that occurs with battery-powered site lights as charge depletes.

Frequently Asked
Can this worklight be used outdoors?
Yes. The IP65 rating protects the floodlight head against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, making it suitable for outdoor use in rain. The tripod stand should be positioned on stable ground to prevent tipping in high winds.
How high does the tripod extend?
The telescopic stand extends from approximately 60cm when fully collapsed to 170cm at full extension. This allows the floodlight to be positioned at head height or directed downwards onto a floor work area from above.
Is the LED panel replaceable?
No. The LED panel and driver are integrated into the floodlight housing as a sealed unit. The LED is rated for approximately 20,000 hours of operation before significant brightness degradation occurs.
What does the 120-degree beam angle cover?
At 2m distance from a wall, the 120-degree beam produces a roughly circular pool of light approximately 3.5m in diameter. This wide beam suits general area lighting rather than focused spotlighting of small objects.
