Description

The Orell is a 23cm cylindrical glass lantern with two candle-style arms suspended inside a clear glass enclosure, framed in satin nickel. The two SES bulb fittings (sold separately) sit on upright metal arms inside the cylindrical glass, with the open-top design allowing light to escape upward toward the ceiling as well as through the sides. The 40cm overall height and 23cm diameter make this a compact lantern suited to narrower hallways, entrance alcoves, and breakfast nooks where a larger pendant would overpower the space.

The satin nickel finish provides a cool-toned neutral that pairs with greys, whites, pale timbers and modern monochrome schemes. The clear glass panels ensure the lantern structure remains visually light despite the metal frame, making it suitable for lower ceilings where a solid or opaque pendant might feel heavy. The Orell works as a single fitting in a narrow hall or in pairs along a corridor where symmetry is needed.

The cylindrical glass is held between two horizontal satin nickel bands — one at the top supporting the suspension loop, one at the base — with vertical rods connecting them. This gives the lantern a clean geometric profile that works across traditional Georgian-style hallways and transitional interiors where classical proportions meet contemporary finishes.
